I am envious of the people headed out to Prospectors this evening for a little mid-week dance action! It is just a little too far for me to venture out in a blizzard. They are supposed to be teaching the line dances Cripple Creek, Cadillacs and Caviar (goes to the ZBB song "Where the Boat Leaves From", great song btw) & Shooter (couples dance).
If you're headed out tonight, have a great time & be safe! Happy dancing :)
Ohh, If you're like me staying snowed in and if you haven't already already checked 'em out, take a looksy at the new official 38step.com merchandise like the
Attention Trashy Women...
What do you get when linedancegirl is snowed in for 3 days without internet access..? Give up? Okay, I'll tell ya. Only the snazziest line of line dance gear ever ;D
Yes, we opened up a shop at cafepress.com and so far we've got some really cool stuff. Here's a few of our favorites:
The Shake it! tee
Sugar Sugar Apron
The Official 38step h2o bottle
Rock it! pin
Electric Slide top
Trashy Women tank
Trashy Women boy short briefs
Electric Slide trucker cap
The Ants Dance tank
Boot Scootin' Boogie ball cap
You likey? Let us know what you think & leave some comment love <3!
A blizzard is coming according to the National Weather Service. They say we're getting some coastal flooding too. All this winter weather is going to interfere with tonight's South Jersey / Philadelphia line dancing events scheduled. If you do venture out, please be safe!!
Passing along storm info:
The Dance scheduled for this evening, Feb. 5, 2010 at the Milmay Fire Hall has been canceled due to the weather. Next week's dance, Feb. 12, is scheduled as normal.
As of 10:30 Friday morning, the lady who answered the phone at Prospectors said they should be open this evening. They did stay open through last Saturday night's storm for Chuck Wick's appearance & show.
As of 9:57 Friday evening, a post from their facebook page notes that Colorado Cafe is "closed tonight due to the anticipated snow storm."
Let us know if your country dance event is going to be effected by the storm. We will help spread the word. Have a safe & cozy weekend!
